End of Course

In an effort to raise the achievement of Tennessee students, the State Board of Education has initiated a massive reform under the Tennessee Diploma Project.  Rather than requiring students to pass three high stakes tests, the Tennessee Diploma Project (TDP) requires 22 specific credits as part of the 28 credits required by Hamblen County Schools for graduation. End of Course tests are given for students enrolled in English I, English II, English III, Algebra I, Algebra II, Biology I, Chemistry and U.S. History.  The end of course test score comprises 25% of the student's final grade in the class.
