Teen Parenting/Special Services

 

Teen Parenting/ Special Services is a program provided by Hamblen County Schools to allow those students who are pregnant to complete their education. The program is housed on the second floor of the Central Office building. It allows the student to have an abbreviated day and still complete the subjects that the students need for graduation.

An added feature of the program is the opportunity for these students to have classes in Child Development and Parenting Skills. The instructor is Ms. Kathy King. She is assisted by a part-time teacher assistant, Mrs. Geraldine Murph.
