The fourth grade teachers at Hillcrest include DanNell Cameron, Marian Hodson, Michelle Morgan, and Lori Horner.

Mrs. DanNell Cameron says her favorite aspect of teaching is watching children grow and learn in such a short time. She has 13 years of teaching experience with 8 of those at Hillcrest. Mrs. Cameron also has experience in teaching sixth, fifth, fourth, and third grades. Her hobbies include scrapbooking, reShe has taught for twelve years. Ms. Marian Hodson is a new addition to Hillcrest this year and enjoys seeing minds develop and increase with knowledge. She has taught for twelve years. In her spare time Ms. Hodson enjoys gardening, reading, traveling, spending time with her two sons and two grandsons, and adding to her collection of pop-up books. Ms. Hodson is also actively involved in the Hillcrest after school tutoring program.

Mrs. Lori Horner is the current fourth grade chairperson and Title I committee representative. She has taught for fourteen years, all of them at Hillcrest. Mrs. Horner receives much joy in seeing a child's face light up when he / she finally "gets it". It's a great feeling to know teachers make a difference. Husband Jason and daughter Jessica are big parts of Mrs. Horner's life. Other members of the family include two dogs, two cats, and a fish. She also enjoys volleyball, reading mysteries, and gardening.

Ms. Michelle Morgan has taught at Hillcrest for 3 years and is currently celebrating her thirteenth year of teaching. Having been a former military wife, Ms. Morgan has taught every grade from first thru eighth in Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. In her spare time she is a Tennessee Master Gardener, member of Keep America Beautiful, and plays the flute. Her favorite aspect of teaching is getting to know students and families. Ms. Morgan is the current website designer for the school.
