Mrs. Eugenia Musick is an extended resource teacher. She is another of Hillcrest's veteran teachers with 26 years of experience, 21 of them at Hillcrest. "I enjoy working with children because no two days are ever the same. It is wonderful to see the expression on a child's face when he has learned a new concept!" Mrs. Musick is married to Carl Musick and has two children--Cala and Jeremiah. She likes to travel and scrapbook. You may email Mrs. Musick at emusick@hcboe.net.
Mrs. Katheryn Hodge is the school's librarian. She has been teaching for 13 years with all of those at Hillcrest. Mrs. Hodge especially enjoys doing research with the students. "We do a country and an environmental issue each year." In her spare time she likes to read, do counted cross stitch, and teach swimming. Mrs. Amy Webb is the lead teacher for the ELL program and has taught for 8 years with 3 of them at Hillcrest. "I like to help students become better communicators by teaching them English; this also helps them with their self confidence." When not helping students, Mrs. Webb likes being a fan of UT sports, reading, traveling, doing crafts, and spending time with her family --husband Kelly, son Buck, and dog Sweetie. Mrs. Nancy Hall is the school's guidance teacher. With a Master's in Education, Mrs. Hall has been in the Hamblen County school system since 1998, five of those years at Hillcrest. "I love seeing a student's eyes 'light up' when they understand new skills and concepts. I also enjoy watching them practice the Golden Rule." Mrs. Hall loves to watch sports, landscape, and travel. Mrs. Leslie Brooks is the school's PE teacher and Hillcrest's teacher of the year. She has been teaching for 25 years with 21 of those at Hillcrest. "I enjoy the smile on a child's face and the twinkle in their eye when they have successfully learned a skill. I love to hear 'I did it!' " Mrs. Brooks is married to her husband John and has two sons--Will and Rob. Watching sports, reading, spending time with her family are among her favorite past times.
