2008 Fall Physicals will be given Saturday, May 24th at Rehab Group of Morristown at 9:00 a.m. The cost is $10. Physical forms may be picked up from your coach or Mr. Utt.
Juniors with a 3.5 GPA may attend the Scholars Day program on Friday, May 16th at 9 a.m. Names are listed on the bulletin board outside Guidance and a list has been placed in all teachers mailboxes.
Anyone interested in running Cross Country needs to see Ms. Johnson in room 222 before the end of the week – this is mandatory!
Seniors: Mrs. Worthington is accepting your Project Graduation reply form, liability forms, and money for your guest. After Thursday, the cost will be $20.
The following students need to be excused on Thursday, May 15, during first and 2nd period. They will be taking the AP World History exam: McKaela Parvin, Ryan Herold, Allison Turley, Taylor McCollough, Moriah Cox, Shawn Gordon, Ryan Canter, Shauna Andrews, Matthew Knight, Jake Clark, and Caleb Wise.
Seniors: Bring your “Time Capsule” items to Mrs. Huckaby in room 223. The deadline is Monday! The tickets you receive can be entered for any game prize item.
Teachers: German Society is accepting yard sale items this week in Ms. Schmidt’s room (313). They will take anything sellable for this weekend’s yard sale to raise money for German Society.
Student Council will meet Thursday after school in Mrs. McClellan’s room for a brief meeting.
The East High Forensics team will be presenting “Forensics Fest” on Friday, May 16th at 7:00 in the auditorium. This is a chance for you to see award winning performances by several members of the Forensics Team. Admission is free.
The 11th grade writing scores are in. Juniors may pick up their score reports in Mrs. Helfenberger’s office.
Seniors may order a graduation DVD from Mrs. Fowler in room 112.
Summer School forms are available in the guidance office.
Any cheerleader who has not turned in their uniforms need to do so ASAP.
Girls Basketball tryouts have been changed to May 27th at East High from 1-3 p.m. Memorial Day is a holiday from basketball.
Volleyball tryouts will be July 7 & 8 from 1:00 – 4:00 in the gym.
Girls Soccer conditioning is cancelled for the rest of the year. Tryouts will be July 9-11 at Walters State.
Students who will need a 1010 form this summer for their driver permit should see Mrs. Worthington.
Students are reminded to pick up any medication they have in the office before the last day of school.
If at any time you are in the office to check your blood glucose, the school nurse or an office secretary will have to verify your visit by signing your log sheet and your student handbook. If you cannot provide that signature, your absence from class will be marked accordingly. At lunch, a signature is still required from the above mentioned staff on your log sheet only. This policy will be enforced effective September 13, 2007.
