Extended Library Hours

 
The library will be open for East High students Monday through Thursday from 7:20 - 4:00. Friday hours will be from 7:20 until 3:00.

 The following guidelines will be in effect:

 Students must obtain a pass from their teacher each day that they need to use the resources of the library in the morning.

 Students who want to use the library in the afternoon may do so without a teacher pass, but are expected to behave in an acceptable manner.

 Students must sign in and out of the library at the circulation desk.

 School rules of conduct and compliance with the Acceptable Use Policy for acceptable use of computers apply during extended library hours.

 
Computers may be used for the following purposes:

            Word processing/printing for school assignments

            Athena (library catalog)

            Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL) is the only acceptable Internet site for use   during extended hours.

 
Computers may not be used for:

            E-mail

            Surfing the Internet

            downloading any files
