REMINDER: Both Parents and Students must have a pin number for signature online. FAFSA deadline for the HOPE Scholarship is March 1, 2008.


  • The ASVAB will be given to the Juniors & Seniors on October 4th in the cafeteria. See Mrs. Helfenberger to sign up.
  • Sophomores & Juniors who are taking the PSAT need to meet with Mrs. Helfenberger in the cafeteria on Tuesday, October 16th during 4th block .
  • The PSAT Exam will be given on Wednesday, October 17th at 8:00 AM in the Library.
  • The PLAN exam will be given on Thursday, October 18th. See Mrs. Eversole for more information.
  • Sophomores & Juniors students who are interested in Governor's School need to see Mrs. Helfenberger for an application as soon as possible. Applications for the School of Arts are due by October19th. Applications for all other schools are due by November 2nd.
  • The Coca-Cola Scholarship is available at www. coca-colascholars.org. Students must apply online. Scholarships vary from $10,000 +.
  • Don't forget! The Competitive Scholarship deadline for UTK is Nov. 1. Go to www.admissions.utk.edu for an application. Sept. 29th is UT's Open House, and Oct. 5 & Oct. 19 are Scholars Invitational.
  • The deadline for Dec. 8th ACT is Nov. 2. Apply online at www.actstudent.org. Any senior who has not received a voucher to take one test free, see Mrs. Luttrell.
