Attention Students: You must request a 1010 Form from Ms. Bailey at least 24 hours in advance BEFORE going to get your
permit. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Seniors - Don’t forget: If you plan on taking a college day, you must bring a note from a parent (to Ms. Ferguson) at least 2 days before you go. It has to be pre-approved.

Summer School will be offering Algebra I, English II, Spanish I, Agri. Science and Landscaping. Students who are interested, may pick up a Registration Form in the Guidance Dept.

If you are interested in helping shape what goes on at West High, pick up a class officer application in Room 434. Elections for Pres, Vice Pres, Sec, & Historian in each class will be held Friday, May 2nd.

Now’s the time to show your Trojan pride and an opportunity for everyone to wear your vision of the Trojan Nation. Develop a design for next years Trojan Nation shirt and submit it to Room 434 by May 9th. The design must fit on an 8 ½ by 11 sheet of paper. Good luck and may the best design prevail.

NO CHARGES IN THE CAFETERIA!!! Charges should be paid in full by May 9th.

HCEA’s Teacher Appreciation Spring Fling

Who's Invited:~ HCEA members, HCEA Scholarship Recipients, Retired Teachers Association members, and their guests.
COST:~ This will be Dutch Treat, but HCEA will give each of its members and the Retired Assoc. members who attend $5 toward the cost of their meals.~ The 2008 Retirees and the Scholarship Recipients will eat as our guests.

~Seniors: If you have received a scholarship and want to be recognized @Honors Day, Please turn in your form and award notification to your TNN teacher by Friday, May 2nd.

Students assigned to administrative detention today should report promptly at 3:05 to the cafeteria. Students arriving after that time will not be admitted. Students must bring something with them to read or work on. Failure to serve a tardy or administrative detention will result in the student being placed on the next level of the assertive discipline plan.

All tennis players meet at Frank Lorino park today, immediately after school for match with Cocke County.

Prom pictures may be picked up in Mrs. Hall’s room.

The Science Club will meet in Mrs. Lott’s room on Tuesday, May 6th, from 3:05 until 4pm.
*Science Club Officer Elections for next year will take place at the meeting.
*The meeting will also be your last opportunity to turn in money & permission slips for the Gatlinburg trip.
See Mrs. Lott or Dr. Sauceman with any questions and plan on attending this important meeting.

Recycling will be picked up 4th block today. May 15th will be the last pick up for the year.

West girls tennis team ran their record to 12-0 this season with a 7-2 victory over Greeneville High School. The boys lost by a score of 7-2. No tennis practice today.

Trevor Smith, Robert Smith, Zack Daugherty, and Josh Spoon placed second in the state at the state FFA agriculture mechanics contest. Robert Smith placed second high individual. Congratulations to this team!

Congratulations to the West High Softball team with a victory over Cocke Co. yesterday (9-0). The District Tournament begins this Friday at M-town East.
