Library Rules

Students may come to the library with a class or individually.  Individual students must have a hall pass signed by a teacher.
Students with passes must sign in and out on the daily sign-in sheet.  When returning to class, each student's hall pass must be signed by a librarian.
Backpacks and tote bags may not be taken into the main reading area.  They must be left in the front of the library.
No food or drinks will be allowed.
Students are expected to work quietly and to have research, assignments, or reading to complete.
Students will be expected to leave their study area clean and neat.  They will also be expected to return any books they have used to the proper place on the shelves.
A copier is available for students wishing to make copies, Copies are 10 cents each.
There are computers available for students use.  Students will be expected to adhere to the county school board's Acceptable Use Policy.
Books may be checked out for three weeks and may be renewed if no other student needs the book.
Students will be assessed a fine of 10 cents each day for late items.  There will be a cut-off of $3.00 for each item that is overdue.
Grade cards will be held until overdue items and/or fines are cleared.
