It is indeed my pleasure to welcome you to West Elementary School.  It is our mission to create a total educational experience that allows children to excel academically, grow emotionally and socially, and become lifelong learners who demonstrate useful decision-making skills to become productive citizens in a changing global society. 

We are committed to excellence in education.  Academic achievement, character development, safety, and a sense of belonging are priorities for our school community.  In the spirit of building a school-home connection, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.  My door is always open.  Your active participation in your child’s education is the single most critical factor in his/her achievement.  It promotes student attendance and a focus on studies, and it reinforces the importance of achievement and education.
