Guidance

Mrs. Sandra Kelly is our Guidance Counselor, and the children spend 30 minutes a week in her class.  She uses the Character Counts curriculum, and the entire school gives monthly awards for one of the six pillars of Character Counts.  The six pillars are:  caring, trustworthiness, fairness, citizenship, respect, and responsibility.  Each teacher recognizes one student from his/her class, and that student is awarded a Character Counts t-shirt, certificate, and other small prizes.  We also take the child's picture, and the pictures are posted in the school hall!
