arriving to school late. Please have your child at school no later than 7:55 to
assure that your child gets to class on time. If your child is going to eat
breakfast, please have them at school no later than 7:45 for them to have time

New information about Distribution
of Medications
A
state law and Hamblen County Schools policy requires all prescription
and non-prescription medications being taken by students to have forms
completed by the parents allowing the child to take these
medicines. Prescription medications require a doctor’s
signature and a parent’s signature on the proper form.
Non-prescription medicines, such as Tylenol, cough drops, or Calamine
lotion require a parent’s signature on the form. Parents are
required to bring all medications into the school and fill out the
proper forms to allow the child to take the medicine. Also, all
non-prescription medications should be sent to the school in the
original packaging. Medicine sent to school with the child cannot
be taken without parents completing the consent forms. Forms are
available in the office or you may request one from your child’s
teacher.
PARENTS--- IF YOU HAVE ANY
PHONE NUMBERS SUCH AS WORK NUMBERS, CELL PHONE NUMBERS, OR HOME PHONE NUMBERS
THAT HAVE CHANGED SINCE SCHOOL BEGAN, PLEASE SEND A NOTE TO YOUR CHILD’S TEACHER
IN ORDER FOR US TO UPDATE THESE IN THE OFFICE. THANKS!
