ESP Program

EXTENDED SCHOOL PROGRAM

ESP will be having early registration for the upcoming 2008 – 2009 school year the week of July 7 – 11, at West Elementary School between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Please use the back entrance of the school located off Richardson St. There is a $7.00 registration fee per child due at the time of registration. The Extended School Program (ESP) is a quality child care system designed with the working family in mind.

ESP is available from 6:00 – 8:00 a.m. at the following schools:
Fairview-Marguerite Elementary                     Lincoln Heights Elementary         
Hillcrest Elementary                                    West Elementary
Whitesburg Elementary

ESP is available from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the following schools:
            Alpha Intermediate                                    Manley Primary
            Alpha Primary                                                Russellville Intermediate
            Fairview-Marguerite Elementary            Russellville Primary
            Hillcrest Elementary                                    Union Heights Elementary
            John Hay Elementary                                    West Elementary
            Lincoln Heights Elementary                        Whitesburg Elementary
            Manley Intermediate                                    Witt Elementary

Any child enrolled in Hamblen County Schools, Pre-K – 12 years of age, may attend ESP.

The following payment plans are available for ESP:
                        Full – Time:                                    4 - 5 days a week
                        Part – Time:                                    2 - 3 days a week
                        Drop – In:                                    4 days a month
Cost varies depending on the plan that is chosen. Current rates are $4.00 per day for mornings and $8.00 per day for afternoons.  Discounts are given to families with more than 1 child attending ESP.

Pre-registration for fall will be held during the month of July at Lincoln Heights Elementary School.  Dates will be announced on WCRK and online at HCBOE.net.
