Cosmetology I is the first course of two years of study to prepare students in all phases of Cosmetology. The student receives training in professionalethics, sanitation and sterilization, shampooing, rinses, manicuring, scalp and hair treatment, hair cutting, hair styling, hair pressing, thermal waving and curling.
Cosmetology II is the second course of two years of study which includes review and evaluation of first year work, hair coloring, permanent waving and chemical hair relaxing, study of anatomy and physiology, facial treatment and massage, facial makeup, study of superfluous hair removal, study of electricity and light therapy and study of chemistry. Students will be evaluated by written and practical tests in all areas of study.
