Departments of Instruction & Administration
The Department of Instruction provides cohesive support to build educator capacity to accelerate student learning through the implementation of high performing PLCs, (Professional Learning Communities), research-based coaching cycles, and strategic professional development.
The Department of Administration provides support for the maintenance of school facilities, compliance for school approval, the annual school calendar, crisis management and school safety, school board policies, and Title IX.

Jaime M Greene
Dr. Jaime Greene is a veteran educator and instructional leader with over 25 years of service in Tennessee public education. As former principal of Lincoln Heights Middle School, Dr. Greene guided the school to statewide recognition, earning distinctions such as Tennessee Reward School status, consecutive “A” school letter grades, Level 5 TVAAS scores, and national designation as the first Solution Tree Ambassador Model PLC School. She previously served as assistant principal and district instructional coach, supporting teacher development and curriculum innovation across Hamblen County. Dr. Greene holds advanced degrees in educational leadership, curriculum and instruction, and a doctorate in education from Carson-Newman University, as well as a Certificate of School Management and Leadership from Harvard University. She is a published author, national presenter, and recognized thought leader in professional learning communities and teacher-led continuous improvement.
Beyond her work in school leadership, Dr. Greene is deeply committed to growing the next generation of educators and leaders. She serves as an adjunct professor and dissertation advisor at Carson-Newman University and holds leadership roles with the Tennessee Principals Study Council and Tennessee Learning Forward. Her contributions have influenced state education policy through service on multiple Tennessee Department of Education committees focused on standards, assessments, and professional learning. Actively engaged in her local community, Dr. Greene volunteers with numerous service organizations and church programs, exemplifying her belief that education and community partnerships are essential to student success. With a career grounded in collaboration, high expectations, and service, she remains focused on preparing students, educators, and schools for a strong future.
Dr. Greene is a product of Hamblen County Schools having graduated from Morristown East High School. She is married to fellow educator Randy Greene. They have two children, both alumni of Hamblen County Schools.

Matthew E Drinnon
Beginning in the 2022-23 school year, the Tennessee Department of Education is requiring LEAs to publish their curriculum on their website and update the website of any curriculum changes at the beginning of each semester. “Curriculum” means a list of courses available to students enrolled in the LEA, accompanied by a course description and a list of the materials that will be used to provide instruction for the course.
