Extended School Program

After School Care 2025-26

• Begins on August 4, 2025
• Registration forms can be completed by choosing one of the links above. Returning participants will register by logging into SchoolCare Works for any programming that is being offered. All new participants will choose the 2025-26 registration link that is located above and below the HCBOE/ESP logo..
• Please see attachment below for tuition prices. Plans are paid weekly based on the number of days childcare is needed.
• All children must be pre-registered to attend.  Please allow for the processing window when picking a start date for your child to begin. If your child is in 2nd grade at Manley or Russellville,  you will register for ESP at the Intermediate buildings.  2nd grade students at Alpha Primary will register for after school care at Alpha Primary. 
• Children are provided a snack every afternoon. Please make your site director is made aware of any food allergies .
• Afternoon operating hours are 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. and each ESP school site closes promptly at 6 p.m.. Late fees will be assessed for late pick-ups.
• ESP for Pre-K children is only offered at the following locations: Russellville Primary, Manley Primary, and Union Heights
• All past due balances from summer or the  previous school year must be paid before your child may attend after-school for the new school year.
• 6th grade children are eligible to attend ESP at their elementary feeder school,  if a bus route already exists to accommodate transportation.  

Non-School Days 2026

• Location:         Old Lincoln Elementary (219 Lincoln Avenue, Morristown, TN 37813)
• Dates:             See attached calendar
• Hours:              6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Cost:                 Registration fee of $10 per child for new participants that are already attending after school programming.  Daily tuition is $18 per day and $13                             per day for each additional sibling for the days attended

• Parents/Guardians will register through SchoolCare works for each individual day needed on the Non-school day schedule. Charges will post to individual accounts upon registering for a specific day.  Keep this in mind when using auto-draft as form of payment.  
• Accounts that are past due of two weeks or more will not be permitted to register or attend Non-School days until the balance due has been paid in full. 
• Children will be provided with breakfast and snack daily 
• Children attending will need to bring a lunch and drink (no soda) each day.
• Please do not send electronics or toys. 

Summer 2026

• Location:         Old Lincoln Elementary (219 Lincoln Avenue, Morristown, TN 37813)
• Dates:                TBA
• Hours:              6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Cost:                 Registration fee of $10 per child.  Daily tuition is $18 per day and $13 per day for each additional sibling for the days attended
• Other fees:      Additional costs will be charged for weekly field trips and other activities, if you choose for your child to participate.
• Deadline:         May 15, 2026  Please register by this date if you feel you may need childcare services at any point during the summer. 

• Registration for the Summer program will open on April 1, 2026

• Children with account balances from the after school program or the previous school year will not be allowed to attend until the balance has been           cleared.

• Field trips are on a first come first serve basis. There will be a limited number of spots and your account must be current for your child to attend. 

• Payments are due weekly on Friday

• Breakfast and Lunch will be served daily. A menu will be sent home.  Feel free to send your child a lunch if you choose.

• Children are not permitted to bring toys or electronic devices.

The Extended School Program is a safe, affordable, DOE licensed facility where your children will be cared for by our well-trained staff. Students that are ages 4-12 years of age and attend a Hamblen County School are eligible for childcare.  ESP offers afternoon snacks, homework assistance, games, crafts, self-directed and group participation activities.

Please allow 2 business days for applications to be processed. Applications are processed each day from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
