School Psychologists

Hamblen County School Psychologists are experts in psychology and education serving children in the school setting.  These services include:

• Completing psychological and academic assessments
• Identifying the special needs of students and helping to plan their educational program
• Consulting with parents, teachers, administrators, and other professionals in the school district and community to enhance services to students
• Presenting teacher in-services and training
• Assisting schools in maintaining compliance with the state procedural safeguards designed to protect the rights of children with disabilities and parents
