Hamblen County School Psychologists are uniquely qualified professionals who provide these extensive services in the school setting:

• Complete psychological and academic assessments
• Identify the individual needs of students and help to plan their educational programs
• Consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and other professionals in the school district and community to enhance services to students
• Present teacher in-services and training
• Assist schools in maintaining compliance with the TN Dept. of Education procedural safeguards designed to protect the rights of children with disabilities and parents
