ENROLL A RETURNING STUDENT

 

To enroll a RETURNING Student for the 2026-2027 School Year, please log into your Parent Portal Account. 

(A Returning Student is any student who was enrolled in a Hamblen County School on or before March 31,2026 for the 2025-2026 school year.)  Any new students for the 2025-2026 school year enrolling AFTER March 31, 2026, will need to enroll as a NEW Student for the 2026-2027 school year this summer. 

Once logged in to Parent Portal, scroll down the left hand side until you see "2026-2027 Returning Student Information Update and Forms Collection". 

 

Items Needed for Enrollment:

Parent Checklist

• 2 Proofs of Residency
• Record of Birth
• Immunization Record
• Proof of Custody or Guardianship
• Current Medications
• Date First Enrolled in a U.S. School
• A physical
• Names and phone numbers of at least 3 local adults that have permission to pick your child up from school.

 

Requirements for Proof of Residence 2026-2027 School Year:

Required: One (1) item from the list below: Proof that reflects the physical residence

• Property Tax Records or Deeds
  • Property Tax Records or Deeds
  • Tax Receipt Record
  • Deed
  • Current Homeowners Insurance Policy
  • Current Mortgage Statement
• Apartment or House Lease
  • Current (within the last 30 days) apartment or house rent receipt
  • Apartment or house lease renters' insurance policy
  • Housing Agreement

*All Dollar Amounts are to be concealed.

Required: One (1) item from the list below that matches the name & address of the item from above

• Current Utility Bills or Utility Deposit Receipts (Water, Gas, Home Telephone, Electric, Cable)
• Latest Filing of Income Tax Records from IRS to the Parent/Guardian
