10.5 The Federal Programs Department respectfully requests the board accepts the following staff changes listed
below. These changes are part of our Consolidated Funding Application (CFA), and all changes will be
supported through federal funding. No staffing changes will be made until the CFA receives final approval
from TDOE.
These schools are requesting the following changes:
Lincoln Heights Elem. – addition of three 25-hour Educational Assistants, will be funded through Title I.
Witt Elem. – part time teacher changed to full time teacher, will be funded through Title I.
Witt Elem. – remove part time teacher position. This position is now vacant, the teacher retired. WT would
like to eliminate the position.
District Wide – Multi Lingual Learner Accessibility Coach, funded through Title III & ESSER 3.0
(1-year position)
District Wide – remove 25 hour EL Assistant. This position is now vacant. Funds will be reallocated for the
Accessibility Coach position.

10.4 Acceptance of the Additional Targeted Support and Improvement (ATSI) 22 Grant awarded from the
Tennessee Department of Education in the amount of $150,000 for FY 2024. This grant is focused on our

10.5 Requesting two new, one-year Positions at MVMS (Instructional Accessibility Coach) and WVMS
